After some reading on Saturday about Horsley and Yelagiri, it was decided.
After a good night's sleep, the excitement woke me up at around 5 30am and got me geared up and ready by 6. The sun was out by then. It was cold, very cold.
This is the route I took -
Started from Bangalore at around 6:30am and reached Horsley hills at around 11am.
Not to forget my hands freezing after an hour or so. Filled up some hot milk in my system and things got much better from there. The views too.
Reached Horsley hills all hungry that I could smell food. I rode in the direction of the smell to find out that it was the place that served the lunch buffet that I was reading about, the previous night. 12:30pm is when the lunch buffet is ready and it costs 140 bucks. I waited and filled myself up with some solid food this time.
After the lunch and a little roaming around the hills, I descended down Horsley and reached Bangalore around 7pm.
Perfect for a one day trip and to spend some peaceful time among the greens.
It was the first ride with the SJCAM I had recently invested in, and I had mounted it on the chin primarily.

Here's the (first ever!) footage from the cam -
Super excited with the tiny cam, and ultimately it's just another excuse to look forward to riding with Sugar. Bring the weekends on!
